Jetts lands local business award
Leading Australian gym chain, Jetts has come out on top, taking home the Export award at last night’s Sunshine Coast Business Awards.
The Export award recognises businesses that export products or services internationally.
Clare Bond was also a finalist for the Outstanding Business Person of the Year honour, which recognises executive team members who demonstrate a high level of leadership.
Jetts’ Sunshine Coast Head Office has been the engine room for the company’s growth and success over the past five years and supports more than 70 jobs in the region.
Jetts Managing Director, Adrian McFedries said the Export award was a testament to having an exceptional team who live and breathe the Jetts DNA as we grow an outstanding business.
“Our Sunshine Coast team has been the driving force behind the network’s success and ensured that Jetts’ high standard of operation has been upheld across all 185 clubs,” MrMcFedries said.
While the company’s footprint continues to grow at a rate of almost 200 percent year on year across Australia and New Zealand, Mr McFedries has no desire to move the operation to a capital city.
“Great global brands come from great places all around the world, and even as we grow the Jetts business further internationally, the Sunshine Coast will always be where our roots are,” he said.
