Jetts Craigieburn will host a 'Ride with Crawf' to support Breast Cancer Network Australia
Jetts Fitness in Craigieburn is inviting the community to 'Ride with Crawf’ an in-club event, which is inviting people in the community to ride the 3600km journey collectively, similar to what Shane Crawford is riding from Melbourne to Perth, but in a community effort.
The club is hoping to raise $3000 for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) and are inviting participants to pledge a 25km ride for a donation of $10, between now and the 11th July, when Shane pedals into Perth. Participants can complete the distance in one or multiple sessions.
A slient auction is also running until July 9th to raise donations, where bidders will have the chance to win personal training sessions and vouchers from local businesses.
Rachael Huckel, Manager of Jetts Fitness Craigieburn, said it’s been great to see everyone come together in support of Tour de Crawf. “We have received a wonderful response from local businesses donating items and gift vouchers to our silent auction. It really does feel as if the community is pulling together to help us raise funds for BCNA. We're hoping our activities at the club will raise $3,000 in support of the Tour de Crawf.
$10,000 has already been donated by Jetts Fitness to BCNA and clubs across Victoria are putting pedal to the pavement to support Tour de Crawf, by donating $10 for every new member who signs up during Shane Crawford’s 22-day bike ride.
Jetts pioneered the 24/7 no contracts gym concept in Australia six years ago, and is now the leading 24/7 health and fitness group in the country.
